Domaine Marcel Deiss Burg Bergheim
Wine Information
The robe reflects inward. The nose is subtile, very complex, evolving quickly toward wet earth, white fruits, salt, the sea. Expands on the palate, sapid from the very beginning, very ambitious and concentrated, all is built on a subtile phosphoric acidity, the softness of autumn and noble bitterness. A distant and aristocratic wine, for the long term.

The geology and climate (a sheltered location at the end of a valley) of Burg make it a terroir of powerful wine, complex and structured, with great aging potential. This is a field blend of the traditional Alsatian varieties, homage to the region’s viticultural history.
