Domaine Jean-Noel Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet Blanc Premier Cru Les Caillerets
Wine Information
Classified as a "Première Cuvée" in 1855, this is one of the most sought after lieux-dit in Chassagne-Montrachet. It is believed that the name originates from the large number of pebbles (cailloux) to be found in the local soil. Similarly-named lieux-dits in Puligny-Montrachet, Volnay, and Meursault are also known for their high quality terroir.
670 cases of this wine are made each year on average.
