Terroir: On the border with Chassagne, 3% slope, 230-meters elevation, deeper clay-limestone soil, massal selection, dense plantation of about 30,000 vines per hectare
Viticulture: Lutte raisonnée, organic methods
Vinification: Directly pressed, light débourbage, long fermentation. Aged for 18 months in 300L and 600L barrels (0-10% new oak). Fined or filtered if necessary.

 

 

The high density results in fewer bunches per vine with smaller, highly concentrated berries.
