Descendants of several generations of Champagne wine-growers, Jacques and Jean-Pierre VAZART perpetuate the brand of VAZART-COQUART. The impressive red-brick house situated in the high street of Chouilly was built between 1865 and 1867. Cradle of the Vazart-Coquart family, it was originally devoted to farming. It was only in 1954 that the farm buildings started gradually to be converted into what is now the centre of a dynamic wine-producing estate.
