Geographically opposite to our Saint-Véran « En Combe » compared to the Pouilly-Fuissé area (see Map of Bret Brothers), this terroir « La Côte Rôtie » lies at the foot of the Roche de Vergisson, around the village of Davayé. Its name comes from its very steep slope (over 40%) facing full South. The soil is calcarous but, as one may guess, it is a very solar wine, both rich and fruity. 2007 is once more an explosive wine!
