Opaque ruby. Aromas of ripe black and blue fruits, along with hints of licorice and woodsmoke. Broad, palate-coating cassis and bitter cherry flavors are enlivened by subtle floral and spice nuances. Rich yet lively wine, with strong closing punch, supple tannins and lingering smokiness.
