Domaine Les Aphillanthes Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Rasteau
Wine Information
Red wine. Southern Rhône, France. 92% Grenache, 7% Mourvèdre, 1% Carignan. Biodynamic. "I suspect the 2016 Rasteau Cuvee 1921 is the finest wine to date from this estate; it’s unquestionably one of the finest Rasteau I’ve tasted. Flat-out stunning notes of spring flowers, orange blossom, violets, and blueberries all emerge from this full-bodied effort that has ample power and richness, yet beautiful elegance and purity at the same time. It’s going to benefit from a year or two of cellaring and keep for a decade."
