Three Wine Company Old Vines Rose Label

Three Wine Company Old Vines Rosé

Wine Information
Matt Cline’s Old Vines Rosé comes from centenarian vines planted at the apex of the Suisun Bay near Oakley, CA by Italian and Portuguese immigrants. They still grow on their own roots in nearly pure Delhi sand.

The wine was produced using the direct-to-press method of de-juicing the grapes, and was cold-fermented over a period of six weeks. Aromas of sun-warmed red currants, freshly cut white flowers, lemongrass, and rhubarb alternate with more fleeting suggestions of ripe watermelon, fresh red cherries, and fading rose petals as the nose evolves in the glass.

On the palate, the wine is generous and round, with multiple layers of mineral-infused red fruit, including ripe red raspberries, white cranberries, and pomegranate, all seasoned with freshly squeezed lime juice, pink sea salt, and the cinnamon-like side of fresh green perilla.
