Wine Information
Heavyweight originated when our winemaker found an unusually robust barrel of Cabernet that had soft tannins, meaning that it was smooth and easy to enjoy. This flavor profile became the guideline for each release; full bodied, richly flavored, well balanced wines with a smooth, clean finish.

Blending wines contribute different characteristics to each of the 8 varietals. Some blends are used to create fullness and structure while others are used for adding fragrance and complex taste. Sourced from various California regions, these blends offer the very best for each varietal. As the years pass the vintages change but the Heavyweight wines will continue to being champions of good taste!
