Yarden 2T

The Wine

The Yarden 2T features a captivating aroma of red and black fruits, along with notes of rosewater, violets, aniseed, mulberry and spice. An attractive blend of two renowned Portuguese varieties, the wine exhibits satisfying body and lingering flavor.

While ready to enjoy upon release, the Yarden 2T will improve in the bottle and remain in great drinking condition for many years from vintage. The wine pairs wonderfully with chunky beef pie, Middle Eastern lamb stew, or wine-braised duck legs with a wild berry sauce.

Yarden 2T is blended from Touriga Nacional (69%) and Tinta Cao (31%), two famous Portuguese varieties of the Douro Valley. The wine’s grapes were grown in Yonatan Springs Vineyard, at an elevation of 700 meters (2,300 feet), and in Geshur Vineyard, at an elevation of 400 meters (1,300 feet). Yarden 2T aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.
