The many lieux-dit wines from the Morgeot appellation can be sold under their smaller appellation as long as the conditions of independent harvesting and vinification are met. If not, they are sold under the Morgeot appellation. Before 2001, Gagnard produced a Morgeot appellation wine that was a blend of grapes from Petit Clos and Chaume (also called La Boudriotte). Since 2002 the grapes from these two lieux-dits have been harvested and vinified separately, thus creating this wine labeled as Chassagne-Montrachet La Boudriotte, which comes from the northern section of the larger appellation.

Approximately 300 cases are produced annually.
